About Us
Meet the family behind Salon Signs — 35+ years of sign-making experience, based in the North West, creating bespoke signage for salons and studios UK-wide.

Made by a family who love what we do
Salon Signs is a family-run business with over 35 years of sign-making experience behind it. We design and make bespoke signage for hair and beauty salons, barbers, aesthetics clinics, pilates studios, coffee shops and independent businesses right across the UK.
We believe a sign is more than a name above the door. It’s the first thing your clients see, the backdrop to every photo taken in your space, and a daily reminder of the brand you’ve worked so hard to build. That’s why we treat every project as if it were our own.
Every sign starts with your brand and your space. We make it by hand in our Lancashire workshop, finish it with care, and deliver it ready to fit, or come and fit it for you.

Where it all began
Salon Signs began with my dad. Thirty-five years ago he started designing and producing signs, building a reputation for quality work and real attention to detail. I’ve worked alongside him in the family business for the past 10 years, learning the craft from the ground up and seeing first-hand how a great sign can transform a business.
In 2026 we decided to give Salon Signs a home of its own, a dedicated business focused entirely on the clients we love working with most. It’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made, and we love what we do every single day.

Why Salons?
It started with a few small jobs for local salons, and we instantly loved the work. Every salon had its own personality, its own branding and its own vision, and creating signs that brought that to life was so rewarding. We started an Instagram page to share what we were making, and that community has since grown to over 40,000 followers, all built on the work itself.
What keeps us here is the people. Salon owners bring so much passion and creativity to their spaces, and it’s a joy to be part of that. We’re salon customers ourselves, too, so we know how much the first impression matters when you walk through the door.
